DFA appointment system for passport application and renewal

Hello guys! I’ve been busy the past days because I need to accompany my sister on renewing her passport. Sadly, we didn’t able to do it because we came to the wrong place. We thought that POEA (Philippine Overseas Employment Administration) were still accepting passport renewals because our eldest sister’s friend just renewed her passport last November 2009 at POEA. One of the employees at POEA told us that they no longer accept passport renewals for non-OFW which is effective last March 2010. So for non-OFW applicants who wished to renew their passports there is now an appointment system for it and changed on location which is now at DFA (Department of Foreign Affairs) . You can visit passport.com.ph/set-appointment for setting an appointment at DFA. Just check the instructions there because they are really strict now. Personal appearance are now required.
