If you are not aware, I broke my camera (Sony Cybershot W220) which my parents bought for me last February abroad. It’s so sad that I only used it for 3 months. My friends and I were taking pictures when suddenly my sister who was also there told me that my camera can’t take pictures anymore. I was searching in the internet and found out my camera’s problem. It has a lens error. After 4 months of being broke (the camera), I’m still thinking if I will have it fixed by a technician or just buy a new one. I was too close to buying a new camera last week but then I realized that I should first consult a technician if it can be fixed and ask for the cost estimation. Oh well, good luck to me. I hope that the cost will not be a burden to me and hoping that it can still be fixed. 
Good choice po. Better consult a technician first. But if they offer a very expensive price for that, better look for other option.
If you bought it two weeks ago, I think the camera is still under warranty, is it not? If it is still under warranty, you can contact the manufacturer and get it replaced or fixed. Try that before buying a new camera. It would save you some money!
