I’m not really in the mood to blog. But then I wanna share to you guys about what happened to me awhile ago. To start it out, our house were visited by 2 ladies on their 20′s. I told my aunt not to entertain them because for sure there’s something behind their visitation. The 2 ladies were conducting the so-called survey. When I heard my aunt talking to them and giving some information, I told my aunt not to divulge any personal information about us and I also talked to the 2 ladies that we are not going to answer such surveys. But then I was surprised that my aunt let them go inside our house. The 2 ladies told us that they will just show us a demonstration regarding the safety precautions of gas tank. After the demonstration thing, it turned out that they are selling an LPG safety device and silicone hose regulator. They were selling the LPG safety device for 10,000php and told us that if we have senior citizen card we’ll be getting the device at a much cheaper price for only 6,000php. Well, we don’t have that much money and I’m not going to buy such thing. To end this story, they were forcing us to buy it and will accept installments. When I told them that I’m not really interested to it, they just offered me to buy their silicone hose instead which is 1,000php. Well, I’m starting to be irritated and all I wanted for them is to leave our house. I ended up handing them the 1,000 bill to make them leave our house.
Please be cautious guys, I don’t want anyone of you get victimized by this modus operandi. BTW, they handed me a receipt and it’s from MEDOPHIL TRADERS. I don’t wanna name names (who are selling the product). Lastly, I really don’t like the way they use God on their marketing strategies. Well, This is just a warning guys. That’s all for now.

I was alone at then, hay naku muntik ko n murahin, siguro kng andito hubby ko that time napaaway pa sya.

this morning, there were students who was doing some survey (daw) but to cut the story short nabentahan din nga ako ng lpg safety device nila which cost Php5,100. they issued me receipt, one year warranty and a one page brochure of the item they were selling, then seconds after they left I search their company in the internet and this is what i’ve got…. lots and lots of bad comment about them that this was a modus operandi and i was really shock i was one of the victims… so I went out and search for them around the subdivision, luckily i found two other guys who knew the girl who offered me the item and I immediately told them that I needed to talk to the girl again coz the hose they installed was loosen… (of course i just made up this story) then luckily the girl came back to the house and I told her the truth that I found negative feedbacks about their company and that I wouldnt like to be a victim of this type so i returned their items and I got my money back but after a long long discussion and dramatic explanations and everything, she still convinced me to buy at least one time, so finally i just bought the cheapest one which was the one meter hose for P500.00, well i still dont know if things will work coz i found out my regulator now is no longer working, probably she did something to it when i was away… now i really need to buy one but at least i will be buying at the mall.

They check for the gas leak and fix the gas stove. We ready don’t have the idea if this a modos operandi or what. I was surfing in the internet and I read these bad comments and I let them read about it. my land lady wlready paid the amount and fully convince to what they’ve done. But me, I am not. that is why I god there personal informations. Is there any news stating that it they are realy link with the national fire prevention program which will prove that what they are doing is legal or not?

Pero until now 5 years na yung lpg safety ko maganda at functioning pa din.. Mahirap talaga ang agent ay NASA company lang ex. (medophil) kc obligue sila magbenta.. Unlike sa mga freelance agent buy and sell sila mas mag trust ka na di ka lokohin.. Na try na namin lpg safety at ok talaga lahat ng install nila sa mga kakilala ko na kapwa ko din bumili..
oh my God. nabiktima din ako nito. buti na lang wala akong pera that time kaya wala akong binili. pero ngayon, may problema sa regulator namin, sumisingaw na sya. may ginawa nga atang hindi maganda.

nalaman ko na “Modus Operandi” pala, so gumawa kami ng paraan para bumalik yung kolokoy na nag demo-demo ever samin ng device, di nya alam, may authorities nang naghihintay sa house namin, at kung di sya madadaan sa aregluhan (REFUND), pasensyahan nalang. Ayun, nag-refund naman sila, nabawi ko yung pera ko.Lesson na din para sa ating lahat, from PAO’s office, “Kung may nagustuhan tayong isang bagay, magresearch muna tayo tungkol sa product. ‘Wag padalos dalos at, wag magpadala kaagad sa mabubulaklak na salita..”
Speaking of Research, may mga safety device din na binebenta sa mga Malls, same brand lang din, mas maganda pa nga yung iba, pero ang price range ay nasa 500php lang..

i’ve been experience in the same situation… OK ang product na pinakita, they made a sample pa nga. indeed, safe ang LPG – ANTI LEAKAGE AND SAFETY DEVICE nila. it will make u safe nga naman talaga… but the question is, why they offered in a high price???
inoofer nila sa mom ko ng 9,500 (1 set), wala daw nabibili nun product kundi sa knila lang, thru house-to-house basis.
when i search thru internet nabibili pala ito sa iba ng 2,995pesos only

hmmm… just this afternoon, two representative from MEDOPHIL TRADERS went to our house to make a ‘survey’. Fortunately, I readily thought that I should not give any personal info about our family. Then, when she asked about the lpg tank that we’re using, she told me that she needs to write down the ‘serial number’ etc of the tank. then she began to proceed with the demonstration. she told me everything that’s wrong with our lpg hose and regulator blah blah. thank God, my sister is using the internet that time and she searched about the company and learned all the negative feedback–that is a scam and they do something to the hose. when my sister discreetly told me what she learned, i kept asking which gov’t agency they are connected and where is their main office located. when she cannot answer me directly, i knew then that it really is a scam. i didnt leave them even if she asked me to get alcohol (i dont get it why she needs one) i just gave them a clean towel. haist… luckily, i dont have money that time and i’m really firm when i said NO to them… i escorted them out after that…
LESSON LEARNED:
1. ask which company they represent and if they are connected to any govt agency
2. if they are asking for personal info, dont just give out any info about your family
3. if they are selling any products and you like it, be sure to search first about it in the internet for any feedback.
4. be firm when you said NO.
5. Dont leave them alone. they might do something illegal…
always be cautious….
