If you are not aware, Christian Louboutin filed a lawsuit last April 2011 against YSL because of copying its red-soled shoes from its 2011 resort collection. Louboutin defended that the red-soled shoes has been its trademark and he wants to protect it from others copying it. Well, it seems that this is a strong battle between Christian Louboutin and YSL’s Yves Saint Laurent because a group of eminent law professors has sided to YSL, telling that court shouldn’t allow Christian Louboutin to monopolise the color.
